Our History

In 2010, a small group of friends began an annual tradition of a golf trip. The trip was meant to keep them connected no matter how much their careers, families and other life events required increasingly more time of them. Each year, the trip grew in numbers and moved to various cities around the US.  Friends of friends, siblings, even a brother-in-law made it into the club. 

The Shaft Classic, now in it’s 12th year, incorporates multiple events throughout the year including over 30 members with careers in a variety of industries and networks spanning across the globe. At this stage in the Classic’s maturity, we acknowledge the reach and access of the group.

Now we want to do more and GIVE more. Our mission is to provide support directly to individuals suffering from difficult circumstances.  Each year, we identify these people and raise awareness and funds that go straight to them.
